Earlobe Lift

At London Bridge Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Clinic, Specialist Plastic Surgeon, Mr Inglefield with his experience and exertise has pioneered our bespoke treatment program for restoring youthful earlobes for your personal care . The earlobes show the signs of aging or stretching similar to the eyelids and face, but are relatively neglected compared to the rejuvenation treatments for the face and eyelids.

Earlobe Lift from London Bridge Plastic Surgery

With all rejuvenation programs, it is important to maintain a harmonious balance with all features. Using either non-surgical or surgical treatments, safe and effective rejuvenation of the earlobes is now possible.

Early aging of the earlobes is seen with loss of the youthful fullness which can be restored using a filler such as Juvederm Ultra or Radiesse. Some patients may benefit from fat grafting to the earlobes especially if having fat grafting to other areas of the face. Stretched earlobes are most effectively treated by surgery with Mr Inglefields’ bespoke earlobe lift procedure, performed under local anaesthesia as an out-patient. This provides effective rejuvenation of even severe earlobe laxity with minimal downtime and recovery.

Earlobe Lift, Earlobe Reduction is performed under Local Anaestehtic in our 5 star Clinic in Wimpole Street.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Q: Am I suitable for Earlobe Lift?
A: The earlobe lift plastic surgery is suitable for patients who feel that their ear lobes are too large / long or have stretched with aging. If however, the earlobes have lost the youthful fullness but have not enlarged, then earlobe rejuvenation can be performed by injections of fillers such as Juvederm or Radiesse.

Q: How is the earlobe lift surgery performed?
A: The Earlobe lift surgery is done under local anaesthetic as an out-patient procedure. The amount of lifting of the earlobe is marked before a very small injection of local anaesthetic at the base of the earlobe. The excess tissue is then excised (cut away) after which fine sutures are placed to reconstruct a more youthful earlobe. A small tape dressing is applied and you are able to leave the clinic immediately after.

Q: Will there be any bruising or swelling following earlobe lift?
A: As with all surgery, there is a risk of bruising and swelling but this is usually minor and will resolve in about 7 days. It is recommended that you take Arnica before and for 1 week after your earlobe lift surgery.

Q: What about the recovery after earlobe lift surgery?
A: You will need to avoid vigorous activities for 1 week after your surgery. Do not dye your hair until the sutures are removed 6 days following your earlobe lift. You can shower the following morning after your surgery.

Q: What are the costs for earlobe lift plastic surgery?
A: The costs for earlobe lift surgery is approximately £2300 which includes all of your surgery, clinic fees and post-surgery care.
